If you feel lightheaded, stop your breath training session.

At the end of each week, turn the knob to the right by a quarter turnДЄfter five weeks, you can switch to a maintenance program training three days a week using the final setting knob setting achieved in week five.

Aim to complete breath training sessions five days a week.

Complete five breath sets for a total of 25 training breaths.

Repeat this exercise five times, then take a one minute break, this completes one set.

Take a deep breath in, hold it, and place the mouthpiece in your mouth forming a tight seal.

Sit or stand during your session (sitting is recommended).

If air went through, turn the knob one full turn to the right and repeat step five.

Breath out hard and fast so air rushes through the device.

Take a deep breath in and insert the mouthpiece behind your teeth forming a tight seal (use your free hand to secure your lips around the device if needed).

Remove the cap from the mouthpiece and insert the mouthpiece in the EMST 150.

Turn the knob of the EMST 150 all the way to the left (counterclockwise).

He is a member of the Australian Medical Association, the NSW Rural Doctors Association and the Australasian Society of Cosmetic Medicine. He holds the Advanced Diploma with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and is a Fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. Dr Simonson joined the Merimbula Medical Centre in 1994 after having a number of years training in obstetrics and gynaecology and emergency medicine in hospitals in Sydney and Newcastle.
